Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), alongside Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), introduced the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. This crucial legislation seeks to ensure that only U.S. citizens participate in federal elections by requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration. The SAVE Act is cosponsored by Sens. Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Ted Budd (R-NC), John Kennedy (R-LA), and Rick Scott (R-FL).
