If you need help preparing your personal statements, our Writing & Rhetoric Fellow, Stef Zavala, has you covered. Email your draft(s) to estefania.zavala@utah.edu, let her know what scholarship(s) you’re applying for, and give her plenty of time to review them (please don’t send any drafts the night before it is due). Request Scholarship Writing Support HERE that you can use to submit your drafts for review as well. Receiving feedback on your essays can mean the difference between you getting a scholarship or not. So, take advantage of this resource!
