This online, facilitated course focuses on teaching practices that support learning and educational equity for community college students from diverse social, cultural, racial, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Participants complete course development activities and work toward redesigning a course based on principles for effective, equitable, and inclusive teaching. Participants complete a short orientation and eight, 2-hour modules (one per week) with readings, videos, reflection questions, learning activities, and online discussions. This is a 16-hour course.
