Core Forum Preconference: The New and Official RDA Toolkit: A Practical Approach

On Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures will host the preconference “The New and Official RDA Toolkit: A Practical Approach” during the 2022 Core Forum in Salt Lake City. This program will combine presentations with hands-on practice sessions and provide participants with both a comprehensive understanding of RDA and hands-on practice by using RDA Toolkit and related tools, including LC-PCC Policy Statements and MGD. This preconference will cover RDA’s background and why a new version is needed, provide demonstrations and instruction on navigating the official RDA toolkit, offer a description and demonstration of the LC-PCC Policy Statements and Metadata Guidance Documentation, and give specific examples of different types of materials.

A laptop is required to participate in this preconference.
