Cost of college went up for all students at Nightingale College

Tuition and fees rose 14.5 percent for 2018-19 at Nightingale College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Utah students paid $52,375 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $525 more than the $51,850 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 30 students received grants or scholarships totaling $172,953 and 35 students took out student loans totaling more than $413,677.

Including all undergraduates (527), 403 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2 million, and 429 students took out $3.8 million in federal student loans.
