Senator Mike Lee of Utah has been appointed as the new chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. Alongside this leadership change, Wendy Baig will step into the role of Staff Director for the committee. Baig has worked with Senator Lee for over twelve years, holding positions such as Legislative Director, Executive Director of the Senate GOP Steering Committee, and Chief Counsel. She expressed her enthusiasm for her new responsibilities: "It has been an honor to serve Senator Lee for over twelve years," said Baig.
