The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Burgess Owens, Burgess 4 Utah, refunded $1,500 to Paul Vanek on July 11, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Earmarked contributions to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Burgess 4 Utah has refunded $113,977 total since Feb. 1.
