Who from City of Salt Lake City area’s former high school athletes will participate in games on Friday, Nov. 28?

Avery Neff, Ella Zirbes, and Ana Padurariu represented Utah at the NCAA National Championship Semifinals to close out their season. Head coach Carly Dockendorf praised their performances as they competed individually against top gymnasts nationwide.

Utah sophomore Avery Neff has been named WCGA Regional Gymnast of the Year for region 2 following multiple victories during her second season with Red Rocks. She will compete for national honors alongside teammates Ana Padurariu and Ella Zirbes at Nationals.

Elias Petersen has been named Big 12 Men’s Diver of the Year for Utah Swimming & Diving. Head coach Richard Marschner was recognized as Men’s Diving Co-Coach of the Year after leading several athletes to strong finishes.
