The Utah women’s tennis team earned a 4-2 victory against the Colorado Buffaloes on March 21, continuing their winning streak in Big 12 play.

This result brings Utah’s overall record to 12-5 and improves their conference standing to 5-2. The Utes have now won six consecutive matches, demonstrating strong form as the season progresses.

In doubles play, Emma Valletta and Sara Akid claimed a 6-3 win at the No. 1 spot, while Emmie Moore and Emma Kamper secured the doubles point with another 6-3 victory at No. 2. The third doubles match was left unfinished with Dylan Lolofie and Kamea Medora leading.

During singles competition, Emmie Moore started off with a straight-set win at No. 3, followed by Kaila Barksdale’s two-set victory at No. 4 to give Utah a commanding lead. Colorado responded by taking points at the top two singles spots. However, Valletta clinched the overall match for Utah after a three-set battle at No. 5.
