The Utah women’s basketball team secured a close 67-64 win against Colorado in Boulder on February 24, 2026. The victory brings Utah’s overall record to 18-11 and their Big 12 conference record to 9-8.
Senior Lani White led the Utes with 21 points, marking her ninth game this season scoring at least 20 points. Reese Ross contributed 10 points and was perfect from the field, making all three of her shots, one three-pointer, and three free throws. Chyra Evans added seven points along with six rebounds and four assists.
Utah started strong with a six-point run and kept Colorado scoreless for four minutes. However, Colorado recovered and finished the first quarter ahead by one point. In the second quarter, Colorado extended its lead to nine points after a 13-2 run. Utah narrowed the gap before halftime but still trailed 33-26.
After halftime, Utah quickly tied the game at 33 with another six-point run. White hit a three-pointer and two free throws to put Utah back in front. The Utes outscored Colorado in the third quarter and held a slim lead going into the fourth.
In the final quarter, Maty Wilke and Grace Foster each made three-pointers for Utah as they kept Colorado from scoring for over two minutes. Both teams traded baskets until Utah edged out Colorado by three points at the end.
Utah had two players reach double figures in scoring: White with 21 points and Ross with 10. Maty Wilke also contributed nine points. On rebounds, Ross led Utah with seven boards.
The Utes shot efficiently throughout the game—45.5% from the field compared to Colorado’s 34.4%. From beyond the arc, Utah converted half of their attempts (9-of-18), while Colorado made four of eleven (33.3%). At the free throw line, Utah went 17-of-22 (80%), slightly better than Colorado’s performance.
Colorado outrebounded Utah by pulling down 36 boards to Utah’s 30 but had fewer assists (eight) compared to Utah’s twelve on twenty made field goals.
Utah will play its final home game of the regular season against Arizona on February 28 at Huntsman Center, where four seniors—Lani White, Maty Wilke, Samantha Crispe, and Alyssa Blanck—will be honored.
