The No. 33-ranked Utah Utes women’s tennis team defeated the No. 25-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls 4-0 on March 26, continuing their winning streak and remaining undefeated at home.

This victory brings the Utes’ season record to 13-5 overall and 6-2 in Big 12 play. The team is now on a seven-match win streak and has maintained a perfect home record of nine wins with no losses.

In doubles play, Utah gained an early advantage when Oklahoma State forfeited the match at the No. 3 spot. The Cowgirls responded by winning at the No. 1 spot, but Utah’s Emma Kamper and Emmie Moore secured a win at No. 2 doubles, giving Utah the point advantage going into singles matches.

During singles competition, Oklahoma State forfeited two matches on courts five and six, putting Utah ahead by three points overall. At the top singles spot, Emma Kamper led against Olivia Lincer before Lincer retired from the match, which clinched victory for Utah as other matches went unfinished.

The Utes will continue their homestand against Kansas State on March 28 before traveling to Texas for upcoming matches against TCU on April 2 and Baylor on April 4.
