Two Utah lacrosse players received Atlantic Sun Conference weekly honors following the team’s 17-10 victory against Dartmouth, the league office announced on Mar. 9. Zachary White was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Nikko DiPonio earned Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and second consecutive week.
The recognition comes as Utah secured its third straight win and marked the third occasion in 2026 that the team has swept both conference weekly awards. The Utes previously achieved this feat after their record-breaking win over Iona and following their season opener against Delaware.
White led Utah’s offense with five goals and two assists, totaling a career-best seven points. He also contributed four ground balls and three caused turnovers, nearly doubling his season point total. This is White’s first career weekly award from the ASUN, making him the third Utah player to be named Offensive Player of the Week this season alongside Ryan Stines and Luke McNamara.
DiPonio, who was named Preseason ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, led defensively with four caused turnovers and a team-high seven ground balls. His performance helped set a program record for caused turnovers in a game with 21. DiPonio now leads the conference with 20 caused turnovers—eight more than any other player—and averages a league-best 3.33 per game while ranking fourth in ground balls with 32. This marks his fifth career weekly award, setting a new program record for Utah.
Utah remains the only team in the league to sweep conference weekly awards three times this season. Looking ahead, White, DiPonio, and their teammates will travel to Milwaukee for their fifth matchup against Marquette Golden Eagles. The Utes hold a 3-1 all-time record against Marquette and are undefeated as visitors.
