The University of Utah women’s gymnastics team, known as the Red Rocks, will participate in the Corvallis Regional from April 2 to April 5 as they aim for their 50th consecutive appearance at the NCAA National Championship.
This regional event will feature No. 12 Utah alongside teams such as No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 Alabama, No. 13 Minnesota, No. 19 Iowa, No. 23 Denver, and No. 25 Oregon State, with San Jose State and Washington also competing.
According to the competition schedule released by the university, San Jose State and Washington are set to compete first in a play-in session on Thursday, April 2 at 3 p.m. Mountain Time (MT). The winner of that meet will advance to face UCLA, Minnesota, and Iowa in one of Friday’s semifinal sessions at 5 p.m. MT.
Utah is scheduled to compete against Alabama, Denver, and Oregon State during the first semifinal session on Friday at 2 p.m. MT. The top two teams from each semifinal round will move forward to the Corvallis Regional Final on Sunday, April 5 at 6 p.m., where they will vie for one of two spots advancing to Nationals held from April 16-19 in Dallas.
