Former Judge Memorial Catholic High School standout Teya Sidberry helped her Texas Longhorns defeat the Missouri State Bears 87-45 in NCAA Tournament play on Friday, March 20.
The contest was held at the Moody Center with tipoff at 3 p.m.
Sidberry recorded six points and a steal during her nine minutes on the court.
The Texas Longhorns are slated to play again at Moody Center on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m.

Utah won its baseball series opener against Texas Tech with a final score of 10-3 on April 17 at America First Ballpark. Strong hitting from Cal Miller and effective relief pitching led to victory for the Utes.
The University of Utah softball team fell to Baylor by a score of 9-1 during Friday’s Big 12 matchup. Four Utes collected hits but could not overcome Baylor’s early lead. The teams are set for another contest on Saturday.
