Redshirt senior Ryan Stines has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week, according to an announcement made on Wednesday. Stines was among 10 players selected from Division I men’s lacrosse and one of three attackmen recognized.

This is the third time Stines has received this national honor, having previously been named to the USILA Team of the Week in both the 2024 and 2023 seasons. Utah has had nine appearances on the Team of the Week overall, with Stines being the only player from Utah to earn this distinction multiple times.

In his recent performance against Merrimack, Stines led Utah’s offense by scoring five goals and recording four assists, totaling a career-high nine points. This output tied for fourth most in a single game in program history. He took 10 shots, seven of which were on target, and collected one ground ball.

After four games this season, Stines leads his team with 12 goals and 11 assists for a total of 23 points. These numbers are also conference highs. He currently leads the ASUN conference in points per game (5.75) and assists per game (2.75), while ranking third in goals per game (3.00). Nationally, his 23 points place him eighth overall; he is one of six players in Division I with at least 23 points through four games.

Stines and his teammates will play their next home game against Iona at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 28 at noon. Admission is free for all fans.
