President J. Stuart Adams, Utah Senate President, used his social media platform in January 2026 to highlight discussions with community groups and reflect on the historical significance of the state’s Capitol.

On January 13, Adams shared his experience meeting with United Utah Parents United during their visit to the Capitol. He wrote, “I enjoyed meeting with @UTParentsUnited during their Capitol tour to discuss issues that matter most for parents and families. When parents are involved, children are more successful. Strong, supportive parents are the foundation of thriving communities. #utpol #utleg”.

Later that day, Adams discussed legislative priorities with another organization. In a post dated January 13, he stated, “Strong families create a strong future. This morning we shared legislative priorities with United Way of SLC. Hearing directly from attendees about issues like early literacy, education opportunities and upward mobility helps ensure we’re focused on the right priorities for Utah”.

On January 17, Adams reflected on Utah’s history and the vision behind its Capitol building: “More than a century ago, Utah’s pioneers laid the foundation of our Capitol, not just in stone and marble, but in vision. They built with foresight, believing that what they started would serve generations to come.

In photographs of the original Capitol’s construction, I see”.

J. Stuart Adams has served as President of the Utah State Senate since 2019 and is known for his focus on family-centered policies and community engagement.
