President J. Stuart Adams has made a series of public statements on social media regarding efforts to address Utah’s water challenges and the future of the Great Salt Lake.

On February 21, 2026, Adams posted, “We will save the lake. Great news that @POTUS is willing to help!”

Two days later, on February 23, 2026, he provided an update on legislative progress: “We had a great week 5, now on to week 6!”

Later that same day, Adams highlighted ongoing collaboration at both state and federal levels by stating, “President @realDonaldTrump is working with us. Western states are working with us. Together, we will secure Utah’s water future and save the Great Salt Lake. #utpol”

The Great Salt Lake has faced significant environmental threats in recent years due to prolonged droughts and increased water usage across the region. Efforts to restore and protect the lake have become a focal point for policymakers in Utah and neighboring western states as they seek sustainable solutions for water management.
