On Friday, April 18, former East High School standout Maya Johnson’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, April 18, former East High School standout Maya Johnson’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Coppin State Eagles.

The game took place at NSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Coppin State Eagles.
