East High School standout Maya Johnson’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Sunday, April 6

On Sunday, April 6, former East High School standout Maya Johnson’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The game took place at NSU Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. at Lois T. Murray Field against Morgan State Bears.
